
Bing AI Chat and Copilot available for search in Google Chrome
Google Chrome users can now access Bing AI chat and Microsoft AI-powered search results from desktop browsers.

For months, only users signed into Microsoft accounts could access the AI chat interface via the Bing app or Microsoft Edge browser.

Now you can chat with Bing AI in a non-Edge browser after accepting the terms of service and reading the AI chatbot privacy policy.

Unfortunately, the Bing AI chatbot only accepts 2,000 input characters in Chrome, while it accepts double the amount of input in the Edge browser.

Signed-in users may also have access to Bing’s AI-powered co-pilot in Google Chrome search results.

Search for Labs in the menu to see if you can access AI chat replies in Bing search results in Chrome.

Initial reports from Windows Latest also show that some users can enable dark mode on Bing AI.

Desktop browser users such as Safari and DuckDuckGo may still be limited to the Microsoft Edge browser, as are mobile users to the Bing app to access Bing’s AI capabilities. However, the first report states that some users also have access to Bing AI on Safari.

The tech giant’s foray into multiplatform support hints at a bright future for AI, albeit with certain caveats for now.
What impact Google Bard and Search Generative Experience could have if Chrome users start adopting Bing AI features remains to be seen.
