Google tests blue Visit button for search result snippets

Google is currently testing a large blue Visit button below some search results in the mobile search interface. The button will say “Visit” and will take you to the website listed in the search results.

What it looks like. Here is a screenshot of this button that Shameem Adhikarath shared with me on X:

Why we care. If Google does indeed introduce this new “Visit” button – and that's a big “if” – it could lead to a higher click-through rate on the search results snippet in search results. Big blue buttons attract attention and could lead to more clicks on web search results than before.
