Here's how to add or claim the listing you just landed
Just Landed is a well-known and long-standing website dedicated to helping people move to new countries. It contains a variety of resources to help people take their first steps in a new field. These include country guides, job boards and even a thriving expatriate community.
A key element of Just Landed is the directory, a comprehensive directory designed to help people find companies that will be useful to them when moving. The global directory is an important entry for many companies and in this guide we'll show you how you can achieve exactly that.
Just landed is useful regardless of whether you are simple Creating local citations or just want to be found by new customers.
before you start
- An official business email address is required for all submissions to this directory:
The email domain must match the domain of the official company website, so emails from Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc. are not accepted. - Only one location is allowed per email address.
If you would like to list multiple branches under the same email address, it is best to contact the site's support as an additional fee/subscription may be required. - Begin the process by creating an account.
Just Landed moderators only approve entries submitted from verified accounts. Additionally, the account verification links expire very quickly. Therefore, it is best to complete this step first, especially if you do not plan to complete the entire submission process right away.
Account creation and verification
- Go to https://www.justlanded.com/ and click “Login” at the top right of the page.
- Enter your email address and preferred password and click “Sign In”. Make sure you check the box to confirm that you accept the terms and conditions:
Note: Sign in with Google only works if your Google account is created with your work email address, not Gmail.
- You will now see your main dashboard with a message saying that you need to verify your account.
- Go to your email inbox and look for the Just Landed email.
- Click the “Confirm Now” button or copy and paste the link into your browser:
- All done! Now you can continue adding your entry.
Adding a new entry
- Go to https://www.justlanded.com/ and log in with your access data.
- Select your country and state from the top left menu.
- Now there are two options you can use:
- Click “List Companies” on the main screen:
- Then click “Get Listed Now” which will appear on the screen:
- Select “Directory” from the top menu and click the “List Business” button in the top right corner.
- Enter the details required to create the business account and indicate whether it is an individual, business or other person account in the Account Type drop-down menu:
note: If the email address you used to register does not match the company website domain, the following message will appear and you will not be able to continue:In this case, select “Change email address” from the menu on the left to update your information:
- Once you've set up your business account, go to the directory or click “List Business” again and enter your business details once you're done. Click on Post:
- That’s it – you’re done! You will see a message confirming that moderator review is required. Once the listing has been verified, you should receive a notification that the listing has gone live.
What to do if the entry already exists?
If your business is listed on justlanded.com but you don't have logins (or have never created one), contact the site's support.
As we already know, all entries are linked to the business email address that matches the website domain. This means that someone within the company created the existing record. The site's support team may ask you to verify your relationship with the company and then assist you in accessing the listing.
