Here is a summary of the webinar. To access the entire presentation, fill out the form.
Basics of AI and large language models
Does the AI really understand its results? Does it understand context and words like a human speaker?
LLMs, or Large Language Models, use a complex system to predict the next part of a sentence.
However, they may miss the underlying meaning.
Therefore, when using AI tools, keep in mind that even though their sentences are grammatically correct, they may only sometimes convey the intended message.
In fact, Open AI has found that even their advanced GPT-4 model only achieves 80% factual accuracy in some areas.
What that means for you
The good news is: Google does not disapprove AI-generated content.
As long as your content has EEAT and meets the needs of the searcher, Google will not penalize you for using AI to support content generation.

Still, the use of AI will be helpful if you pay attention to accuracy and originality. Generative AI only works with existing data and cannot generate completely new ideas.
So if you are completely relying on AI, you should think about adding your unique touch or experiences as AI cannot provide that.
Tips for your content
To apply generative AI to your writing, start with prompt engineering.
Put simply, this is the process of giving the GPT the right instructions for the desired result.
Instead of asking GPT for something generic, you should give it instructions consistent with what it has learned to get the result you want.

Tip 1: Use AI to brainstorm new content ideas
For example, for a brainstorm, you can ask the AI for five ideas in a specific category. It can provide appropriate subheadings that can structure your long content.
This method provides a valuable way to get a high-level summary of common issues related to a topic.
It helps identify relevant long-tail keywords, questions, and other aspects to cover.
Then you can add your voice and style to write, avoiding the originality problem. Because it provides an overview, you don’t have to question factual errors or AI-generated inventions.

Tip 2: Use AI to write parts of first drafts
This is great for getting targeted content for small sections and incorporating that into your writing.
It helps with focus and can provide snippets, paragraphs, or sentences to enhance your work, especially if you’re aiming to rank for specific keywords in an article.

Tip 3: Use AI to revise existing content
OpenAI trained the model on suggestions and revisions, delivering targeted and clear results.
By providing a framework and a specific question, the model generates revised content that directly answers the question and aligns with the intent of the section.

Tip 4: Review the content and provide feedback
In this way, AI tools serve as your writing partner, providing concise feedback and suggestions. Explicit restrictions and specific instructions are required for targeted guidance.
It provides feedback on content relevance and provides targeted recommendations, making it valuable for keyword targeting.
The biggest snack
AI is a tool, not a magic wand. It opens up opportunities to improve content creation and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
However, it is important to remember that AI is imperfect and only partially brings something new.
Instead, it acts as a valuable partner in content production.
