How the GBP Post Scheduler works

Using the GBP Post Scheduler is a breeze. Watch this short video tour or read on to learn more.

The top navigation allows you to access the GBP Post Scheduler overview dashboard where you can:

  • Simply navigate to the desired location to manage your Google updates
  • Create bulk posts to publish across multiple profiles
  • Check which locations are connected to GBP
  • Get insight into live and scheduled posts for each location

To use GBP Post Scheduler for a site, ensure you have purchased a Publishing Pack and set up the GBP connection. Once this is done, you can efficiently manage your post.

Post to a single Google business profile

To post to an individual profile you can either navigate to the relevant location from the GBP Post Scheduler dashboard by clicking on ‘View’ or you can find it in the left navigation when in a location.

Once there, you will be presented with a dashboard showing all the posts for that specific Google Business Profile. You will see what is:

  • Live: Posts that customers can currently see on your profile
  • Planned: Posts you have already scheduled to publish
  • Expired: Events or offers that have ended and are no longer available on your profile
  • Rejected: Any posts you tried to publish that were rejected by Google

Clicking on “Create new post” will open a modal where you can post an update, offer or event. If you want to learn more about each post type, you can check out our guide to Google Posts.

Everything you see in Google is recreated here for a seamless experience. You can add captions, images, buttons, start dates, and end dates, just like posting direct from Google, but with the important added ability to schedule your posts.

Once you are happy with the content, you can set the exact date and time for the post to be published.

However, if you’d rather publish right away, you can just click Publish Now.

Generate content with AI

With our AI writing assistant, generating AI content is incredibly easy and efficient. Instead of manually creating the title or caption for your post, you can send us information about the update, offer, or event and then click the Generate Content With AI button.

Bulk post on multiple profiles

It’s easy to select two or more locations from the overview dashboard and click the “Create bulk post” button in the top right corner. You can use the search bar to quickly find specific locations.

Once you’re in bulk posting mode, follow the same familiar steps: select the post type, add your content, and decide whether to schedule the release date or publish immediately.
