The iPad setup is It will undergo a major overhaul in 2024with Apple introducing two new ones iPad Pro models and two new ones iPad Air Models. To accompany the new iPads, Apple plans to introduce updated versions of both the Magic Keyboard and the Apple Pencil.
Magic keyboard
Apple is redesigning the Magic Keyboard, introducing a sturdier frame made from aluminum rather than the more malleable polyurethane material the current version is made from.
Accordingly Bloomberg‘S Mark GurmanThe aluminum design allows a combination of iPad and Magic Keyboard similar one of Apple’s MacBooks, which are also made of aluminum.
The frame and area around the keyboard are made of aluminum, while the outer shell is made of the same silicone cover material. Apple also plans to implement a larger trackpad, more similar to the MacBook’s trackpad, to better reflect the typing and navigation experience on a Mac.
Since Apple plans to use more premium materials for the Magic Keyboard, there’s a chance it could be more expensive than the current version, whose price starts at $299.
Apple currently makes the Magic Keyboard in two sizes and the accessories are available in either black or white. There is no information on whether the color options will change.
In 2024, the iPad Air is expected to be available in 10.9″ and 12.9″ sizes, while the next iPad Pro will be around 11.1″ and 13″. The Magic Keyboards that Apple has in the works will likely be suitable for both the iPad Pro and iPad Air, as the current 11-inch Magic Keyboard is designed for the 11-inch iPad Pro and the 10.9-inch “iPad Air” works.
Apple Pencil
While Apple introduced a USB-C “Apple Pencil” in November, which is technically the third “Apple Pencil” to date, it is considered a cheaper, lower-end “Apple Pencil” because it lacks important features such as pressure sensitivity.
Apple is working on a “true” third-generation “Apple Pencil” that will be a complete successor to the second-generation model. There have been a few rumors about the Apple Pencil over the last three years, but it’s not entirely clear what we can expect or if what we’ve heard is true at this point.
In June 2020, the leaker Mr. White said that the next generation “Apple Pencil”. would be available in black and White, but this rumor has not been repeated since. All previous “Apple Pencil” models were white.

Apple patented a in 2020 Color recognition technology This would allow the Apple Pencil to sample colors from the environment, and that would be an interesting addition, but we don’t know if this functionality will make it into an Apple Pencil.
